    bitter taste on the rim of coke bottle?

    My husband and I bought a 20 oz bottle of coke but when we started drinking it there was a bitter taste under the cap and on the rim where the cap screws on. Curious if any one else has had this problem cause this isn't the first time this has happened. It's a plastic bottle from a gas station
