Uh, my battery life is horrendous for some reason. Did a full 3-finger salute yesterday and will reinstall firmware today. It might just be a battery problem but this is crazy. Either way, back on the N900 for now. UX owns the E72 despite tolerating EDGE.

I totally agree with everyone's that it is technically redundant to have it there. But I really don't see why they wouldn't include it. There's no reason to. The G1 didn't have a virtual keyboard, but they eventually put it in with the Cupcake build. Maybe Nokia will eventually put it in.

My licensed copy of quickoffice seems to work just fine on my n97. Does anyone know what they plan to do for those of us that already own a licensed copy and want to transfer it to the new phone? Edit: maybe this is possibly why my bt keyboard doesn't want to type numbers?

Is there any way of telling which countries' maps you have on your phone/memory card? There's no way of telling by looking at the folders on the phone. And as far as I could tell, even by connecting to pc via USB and OVI Suite, you can't tell, because the folders and subfolders where the maps...
