Nokia 5800 XM NAM(850/1900): Reviews, Issues, Tips, Tricks & Support Thread!!

I think you guys are arguing over semantics, which is pointless, especially since this thread has nothing to do with Apple or its products. So if you want to continue this, please take it elsewhere. I'm getting tired of all the Apple nonsense polluting the Nokia forums.

Where to Buy Nokia E71-3 Thread!

It has nothing to do with what works best for the other poster. The NAM model is made for North America. If the 850 band gets saturated with users it will change over to 1900. To spend $500 on a phone and not have the 2 bands that work in Canada is crazy, IMO.

    *OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia 6650 (RM-324 6650d-1bH) NAM 3G 850/1900

That is what I thought when I looked at the 6650. I wish they could un-neuter it and merge the body with the V9x... now you've got a real quality N series folder fone. In other news, it has really awesome voice quality. Being on the receiving end of the call, the 6650 has a slightly more open...

So who else misses really nice two dimensional animation?

Traditional non-CG animation isn't gone by any means; it's just that CG is the 'latest thing' right now, and it's making Hollywood a lot of money, so the film industry is currently glomming onto it, that's all. Anyway, why must it be one or the other? Even modern hand-drawn animated projects...

HTC Legend vs Acer Liquid E

The HTC Legend has a lower-res screen. This is not necessarily a dealbreaker: If you think the screen looks nice, then it suffices for you. But it could well be that with less pixels to address, it's equally snappy at 600 MHz compared to a higher-res phone at 1 GHz.

A 'What If' ivolving 4Kids and Funi

Funi has released DVDs of Degrassi High, that's not anime. I think it would be funnier to imagine if 4kids got TDI. Cut out all swearing and nudity. Replace half the dialogue with more "kid friendly" stuff and remove all references to Canada (Tuck Shop becomes 7-11, Owen now wears a Yankee's...

Did you argue with anyone about animation?

In real life, I don't believe I ever had an arguement over animation.
