hi all. i had an appontment with my nurse today and had some spirometry done also. my peak flow was amazing 510 then 490 but my fev1/fvc was then 0.7. Is this normal? I cant understand why my peak flow was so good but the fev1 was awful!?!?!?

I have a good degree in biology and have worked in veteinary research since graduating last year. i would relly like to work in a hospital lab. any ideas how i can get into this as it seems to require specific registrations?
