A built-in hardware? You gotta fetch the separate driver software from whoever's website, whoever means the company that made your laptop. At least that is how I had to do with the Bluetooth on my HP laptop, it was an off-lease with nothing else but the power adapter and they did not install...

Blue Screen in these day and age is purely hardware issue, combined with the fact that you make out to be software with hard drive already changed the issue is the hard drive controller I suppose.
