If I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion on my Mac would apps downloaded by torrents be lost?

Well given that you stole those Apps, it's probably a good thing that most likely you will lose them. Plus there's a very good chance that even if you don't lose them, they won't work under Mountain Lion.

Where can I buy Adobe Photoshop Cs4?

Unfortunately you really don't have any options to buy it at a store, because it is now out of date. Adobe is actually up to CS5.5, but you should still be able to find CS5 at a good computer store that carries software. You might try a local university bookstore too. If those don't work for...

    Photo Editing Software?

You may want to look at Paint.net. It is a basic, but very good, free imaging editing program. You can get it at http://www.getpaint.net Another option is Gimp, which is closer to Photoshop in its abilities. It is, however, more complicated and harder to learn and may be more than you need. It...

Will my computer run the trial version of Photoshop Cs4? System info inside...?

There is one problem: you cannot get the CS4 trial any more because Adobe has released CS5. However, you should be able to run it, but I think you may be low on the RAM.

Does anyone work in Photoshop on a Linux OS?

Gimp is intended to run with Linux. Photoshop will not run under Linux, it is Windows or Mac only. trying to run it under a virtual machine or emulator is a bad idea because it is a resource hog and is unlikely to run well or at all.

i have windows vista, and my downloaded photoshop actions won't work?

Although they are in the proper location, you may still have to load them. I have Photoshop CS4, so things might be slightly different in CS, but open the Actions palette and see if there's a little arrow near the top right corner. Click on that, you should see a list of available Actions. Click...

    Photoshop from PC to Mac?

You can't use the same serial code. Each copy has a different serial code, and it cannot be reused. What you need to do is talk to Adobe. Check the site for the cross platform upgrade info, you WILL have to pay something, but it will not be nearly as much as buying a brand new copy of the Mac...

Can I install Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and Illustrator 9.0 on my laptop with

I believe you will have to upgrade. Those versions are too old, and are no longer supported. It is very unlikely they will run under Windows 7. Photoshop 7 might run under Windows 7, but I don't think anything older than that has a chance.

    Photoshop Help.....Urgent!?

What resolution is your image? The physical size (12 x 14) and the resolution are two different things. It sounds to me like you probably used screen resolution—72 dpi (dots per inch)—rather than print resolution, which is usually 300 dpi but can be less depending on the printer's requirements...

QUESTION ABOUT BOOT CAMP ON A MAC!!?

You need a full legal copy of Vista or XP to use on Bootcamp. Be very careful about buying so-called cheap versions, especially those that offer a supposed key with no CD; you can end up with something that's completely unusable or even loaded with viruses (and yes, once you've installed Windows...
