    I upgraded to iOS 5 recently (through my PC) on my 3GS but then got an iPhone 4s a few days later. I've passed my 3GS on to my girlfriend but her Mac won't allow her to update iTunes to 10.5 to sync with iOS 5. Stuck on iTunes 9.2.1 we are trying to install a previous version of iOS. 3GS in DFU...

    Only customers activating a new line of service (getting a new nuraber) get 1st month free. If you buy a $9.99 phone, decide you like it, and want to upgrade to a better quality phone and want to keep the same nuraber that you have on the refurb then you pay a higher price for the new phone...
