    I think you may be a little confused. The tests you are talking about, you actually can actually take 4 days BEFORE your missed period (Clearblue brand) You can use any test when you are a day late for your period.

    With my son, I used the Clearblue Easy early detection one, and got a positive 7 days before I was due for AF.
