I got earthlink freestanding dsl kit today and I noticed the phoneline was cut off from the nid box outside. How much would it cost to have new wiring?

Yesterday was the first i picked up a book in a long time, without being told really, for fun i guess. I just finished the book, "two-way street." I want to start reading more books like this book. If anyone has read that book, and liked it, can you recommend me good books that you liked.
