    What are some essential books/authors?

    I want to get a lot more in to literature. What are some must-reads? What are some great classics? What are writers or writing periods that I definitely should know? A list of bullet points is fine, or your personal favorites. I really don't mind.

    Animals generally don't respond to music much at all. There are some rare cases where one random bird will TOTALLY rock out to music.
