    Is there any California law that over rides a federal law?

    So me n my boss made a bet...he seems to think that there are sum state laws that the federal law cannot over ride....I disagree bcuz I learned that federal law will always be greater.... So who is right. I know ther are sum gray areas but for the most part federal govt always is the greater law
