    Are the Royal Marines a top notch fighting force?

    If I joined the Royal Marines and passed out with my green beret would I belong to one of the top fighting units in the world?

    Are Royal Marines better trained than some of the US military units?

    I always thought that the Royal Marines were one of the top fighting units in the world, but these guys on youtube said that the US Military has units that would p iss all over the royal marines training. Aren't the Royal Marines still up there with the best? and comparable to the yanks?
