The N86, or ANY Nokia N-series NAM phone will not work on T-Mobile USA 3G .. TMO USA uses the 1700 band for 3G. If you want 3G speeds you'll have to buy a phone FROM TMO, not an unlocked generic phone. The NAM versions will work however on ATT's 3G network.

Both have the same OS. 5800 has 3MP cam vs N97 has 5MP camera. Screen 3.2 inches vs 3.5 in N97. Home screen on N97 is customizable, where as in 5800 you can't. Of course N97 has physical QWERTY keyboard.

I would highly recommend checking out Tony White's Animation: From Pencils to Pixels, which is probably one of the most thorough books on both the art and business of animation. Lots of animation books talk about the former, but not as many talk about the latter. I haven't read quite that far...
