well the hero doesnt have US 3g bands. the x6 i really havent heard anything amazing about it. it seems you want a good mp3 player and a good gmail sync. If your going with a nokia i would go with the x6 or the e72 both seems to have a great battery power. If you want android go with the nexus one

Nokia is beginning to go down hill with rehashing the same CPU on every phone. The competition has a faster CPU and 3D HW.

Thanks for the info.Jonty said his 71 worked tho...hmmmmm..thats kinda weird. My same question in the 66 thread said it was incompatible which I find strange for it to work on some 71's, not others and not e66 at all, when the 66 and 71 are basically the same device in diff bodies. Oh well...
