    I was exercising y'day and a rash appeared on my hand - it still hasn't gone away! What

    How do I correctly reference this book in my university essay?

    It's just a novel, but I'm wondering if I'm supposed to write down the year the novel was first published, or the year the edition I'm using is published?? Does anyone know?
