    What is a good introductory book about space and astronomy?

    I'm 28 and have come to the sad realisation that I know next to nothing about the solar system/planets/space travel/moon landings etc. Can you advise me on a good introductory book to this subject? Nothing stupidly basic, but I don't want pages of complex astrophysics either...
