You wrote a lot. But this pretty much sums it up. Technology that responds to you - not to specs, not to another network's desires even, but to you is where mobile and everything else is going. The Pre is very much ahead of the game with this - and to think that this was developed 3-4 years ago...

Guys just relax, if you like N97, buy it, if you like i8910 buy it. Simple as that. Nokia knows what they are doing. Yes i8910 has better specs but IMO N97 will sell more. I'll buy both, try them out and keep the one with fewer bugs. I've i8510 and it's still the best camera phone out there...

I like the way the white looks too, but afraid it wont look very white after several months of use. If I get one, it will be the darker color.
