  1. is photography a talent?

Short answer: yes. The ability to make an image to communicate with an audience (generally using only the visual senses) is a talent... the ability to create a visually pleasing image is also a talent... the technical stuff about cameras can be learned. Therefore, photography utilizes talent...
  2. I am into photography. know any jobs which will take a 14 year old in the topic of...

Really all you could do is sell some of your work at local fairs. Also, hold an art show with some of your friends or other local artists - charge a few dollars to get in, and have some pieces for sale. At 14, you're probably not going to find any part-time job, except maybe a paper route. And...
  3. Twilight -- How long has it been since it hasn't been mentioned in the Books...

Just saying I agree with you & Marti. Oh, and if you tell a Twilighter (or anti-Twilighter, I think hating Twilight is the new trend) to use the search bar, you get reported. I got a Violation Notice e-mail earlier today for that, and I'm still bitter.
  4. photography question..?

Ask your teacher what he/she recommends. You may be required to purchase a certain type of camera (most likely an SLR; possibly DSLR), and you probably don't want to buy a camera that you won't be able to use for class anyways.
  5. What do you do, when you're not doing "photography"?

I'm starting college in August, and I'm a Media Arts major, so that'll relate to photography in obvious ways. Other than that, I'll be working some minimum-wage job that I'll probably hate (that or a work study, or both if I've got the time)... to be able to pay for said college education. =)...
  6. How many books have you read?

No clue. Hundreds... my best guess... probably around 600 or 700. Maybe more, maybe less - I don't keep count. I read often. =)
  7. B&A, have you ever come across an author you suspected did not write all of

I've heard the same about Shakespeare and Homer, that their works were written by others (Edit - well, for Homer, it would be more that his works were created by others, because I'm pretty sure that The Iliad & The Odyssey were both written down many years after the stories originated). Other...

  9. If I have over 30 full pages in of writing, would that be enough pages for a...

Look at the word count. A typical paperback has about 250 words per page, so take your word count divided by 250 to get an idea of how many pages your work would be (this is, of course, only a ballpark figure, and it doesn't account for editing or anything like that). [30 pages probably isn't...
  10. A copyright question - online images and collages..?

Let's say I print out a photo I found online at Yahoo News or something. I obviously don't own the copyright to the photo, but I want to use it in a collage I'm making. Is this legal? What if I wanted to sell the collage? What if I found a photo I wanted to use from a photographer's website, or...
  11. Best way to send photos by e-mail?

I've got about 15 photos to send through e-mail. I'd prefer to send the actual images rather than upload the pictures to Photobucket or another website and send the link. Would it be better to send the photos as attachments or just insert them into the actual e-mail? Thanks in advance. =)
