1996 chevy truck 4.3 liter - what kind of oil recommended to change. Like what brand?

I keep having this dream that my jaw locks up, and im grinding my teeth so much that they become loose and fall out. It doesnt really happen but it feels so real. anybody know wtf is wrong with me???
