I am deciding to get a kitten to be a companion to me. However, I live with my Dad who has dementia and I don't want an aggressive cat. Are there any cats that are even tempered? Do cats become lovable from the way they are raised? Thank you for your answers.

I was able to download smileys on a reputable website, now I can't. I get the error, "You don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/ on this server." It also says I have to manually use the keyboard and clipboard, but when I do it doesn't work. Actually, I am ignorant on how to even explain this...
