Can you recommend some authors that write based on scripture- no theology.It seems like just when I find someone that I think is being 100% focused on God and the Bible, they turn out to be all into theology and usually end up preaching to their own needs, or selling their books with their own names in the title ( self-promotion).
I'm a Christian- been to Methodist and Baptist churches.
I'm just tired of these leaders coming out nowhere, and creating these huge minitries that always seem to become more self- serving than Jesus teaching over time.
I wish things weren't so confusing! I want to listen to/learn from someone I can trust, but it seems like that person is getting harder and harder to find.
