Sorry mate the car belongs to the finance company and not you. You should have HPI the car before you bought it. The only thing you can do is chase the guy you paid cash to but I wouldn't hold much hope in getting the money back. They will repo the car, sorry mate.
It's not your car. It did not belong to the man you bought it from. You could try the eBay complaints procedure, but he's probably legged it by now. You can either buy it from the finance company or let them have it back.
