(and this is technically about a data card, so feel free to move it to that subforum if its a better fit there.)

I just called for the SEVENTH time to try and get this stupid broadband card activated.

Call 1: Got as far as trying to bill me when his computer froze.
Call 2: Put me on hold to see if he could waive the activation fee, then call dropped.
Call 3: "systems are updating"
Call 4: Got the ESN in the system, started to create the account, call dropped.
Call 5: Got as far as the billing address, and was about to bill me, when the system went down.
Call 6: "This department cant help you, i'll transfer you to activation" call dropped.
Call 7: "Go to a full service store, no there are no supervisors available, (click)

I'm about to go to a full service store, wait in line 3 hours, then SHOVE THIS CARD UP SOMEONES USB SLOT.

PS. Any dealer who can activate this and bill me over the phone, who wants the commission, just PM me.

If there is a corporate owned store, I would just go down there and take care of it. I have had about the same level of incompetience from cricket when dealing with there telephone support, it is about the only area where cricket lacks, but the corp owned stores are usually very helpful and have always got my issues taken care of.

I sometimes feel it would be better if they just put some kind of telephone magic 8 ball when calling customer service, would probably be more productive than the people they are using now.

My only issue with a full service store, is walking in the door tenRAB to make me homicidal.
I'm not willing to wait 3+ hours for people to complain about their bills and ask for credits and complain that their cheap *** phones are broken.

In Albuquerque, I lived 100 feet from a corporate store, and there was usually at least 10 people waiting in line for them to open at 10am. In el paso, theres at least 20 people outside the door an hour before they're open.

I'll be in the area of their corp store in el paso today, but i'm not going to wait 3 to 4 hours in order to give them my buisness.

Yeah those people kinda tick me off also. For some reason they have issues paying there bill, and cricket's billing is soo easy. Bill + tax = how much you pay.

I'd walk into the corporate store, I've personally never had to wait 3-4 hours, more like 5-15 min if that, for the corp stores around here anyways.

I remeraber waiting 2+ hours with sprint, and over a hour when I was with cingular. Infact the only companies that I have ever had good in store experiences with have been cricket (low wait times compared to others) and nextel before sprint took over.

Good luck, and try the corp owned store.. :)
