So 4 days ago I get a call from my mom, she says something bad just happened to my sister and to drive to Stonybrook hospital as soon as I can. When I get there I see my parents in the waiting room, tears shooting down their eyes. I walk over and ask what happen. "She got into a car accident the expressway and isn't doing too well."

She's in ICU right now and is still undergoing some tests, the last few days have been a bit slow with doctors and they are still treating her for some broken bones and she has been slipping in and out of consciousness.

She was hit by a drunk driver, what a fucking asshole. My life is just so fucked up right now, not knowing if my sister will live or die, and it wasn't even her fault.

holy shit dude, i really feel for you and your family. you have my sincerest warm wishes for her comfort and speedy recovery, and i really hope they catch/caught the guy responsible.

my best to you and your family man. if you need anything, let me know.

Spikey this is horrible news, and terrible thing to happen to your sister, I really hope she makes a good recovery, and hope that guys pays for what he did. Damn, so fucking irresponsible. It pisses me off, especially when this type of thing happens.

I wish you and your family the best, and you know I'm always here to talk to, I mean it.

This kinda stuff.. makes me so mad..

Getting arrested in a bar makes a lot more sense to mee now.
Sorry spikey, Like tostig said, if you need something Im sure we can all help you.

Dude that really sucks. Drunk drivers are some fucked up people and i belive that they should lock away those asshole.

Best wishes hope your sister recovers and everything turns out ok.

Oh my gosh! I'll give her a little prayer tonight! I hope everything works out!

I'm really very sorry! Sometimes in this life we get tossed a rough patch, but I'm sure she'll be fine in a little while, modern medicine is amazing for broken bones and such!

Damn that sucks.... :hug2: you and your sister, and :bestwishes: for her health.

P.S. Don't spend too much time in the bar, it'll just make things worse.

Good news,

Although I coudn't understand completely what the doctor was saying, part of my sister's skull was cracked, which is being treated for, and something caused inflamation in her left brain which was taken care of and she is keeping steady consciousness now.:)
