Fuckin' ticket

Damnit, riding my bike to a date today, I got busted for speeding. Not going to argue the ticket, I was speeding and I knew it.

But fuck does that suck. 73 in a 55... $62 At least I wasn't 75 in the 55.. then it'd be $148 and I'd have to take driver's education again. 85 in a 55 would have gotten me busted.

Date went off ok... but damnit, now I gotta drop the $62 for being stupid plus eat whatever my insurance does to me. God I hate being stupid sometimes.
 
from my limited time on a bike, i know it's easy to be unaware of your speed...especially when you are monitoring the dumbasses all around you. a comfortable speed is usually over the speed limit.

if the date knows the situation, she'll understand if you just want to hangout at your or her place instead of going out next time. allow her make you feel better. (take your pillow)
 
In my area at least, you can pay like $25 over your fine fee, and have your ticket disappear as long as you don't get another within six months. I've gotten 3 tickets over the years, but I've got a spotless driving record that the insurance company sees.
 
Gotta agree here. I knew I was speeding. I couldn't tell you the EXACT speed I was running, but I couldn't deny the fact that I was hauling ass. It's a 55 and I knew I was in excess of 70. I was just being an asshole and got caught up in it.


And DG, why would I buy you an assmaster? You ARE the assmaster.
 
My philosophy is that you don't have to drive fast you just have to look good. If you look good and drive fast it can't be appreciated.
 
i got a worst story than that.

One time i was going 70 on a 65 highway and i went by a cop who didnt even have a radar and pulled me over for doing 85 and gave me a ticket for $148.
 
I havnt had a speeding violation in like 16 years.

I got a DUI 10 years ago. 10 years ago october.

My record is spotless. I hope it stays that way. Lots of speeders around here. I just watch guys on bikes pull wheelstands and thinking to myself why they're so suicidal.

thats what dirt tracks are for.
 
According to your profile you're a chick which would mean you don't have any cajones to suck.

Beyond that, I already said it was my fault. Cops don't ruin anything. They enforce the law. I was violating it. I didn't hold it against him for doing his job. He's got to put food on his table too.
