Subs or Dubs?!?

I dont ever watch dubs anymore, but i still prefer them. Weird eh?

Heh I never prefered dubs, I just had to deal with dubs, when I was young it's all we had, I started watching subs around January (That's also when I say I started watching anime for obvious reasons)

I also pretty much think all anime is dubbed in America, and no offence to the large USA population, but I am not fond of the American accents, especially those they pick for the voice acting >.
 
i gotta go with subs you get more of the anime feeling that way. also alot of dubs make the character sound all rong and like a total dumb ass: ex all characters from naruto on tunami.
 
I actually watched 60 eps from both dubs and subs and found almost no difficulty in the transition between voices. The problem with Naruto was a poor translation of a word that doesnt have much literal meaning
 
(indent) I watch mainly dubs because that's what comes on my TV and usually I don't have a problem with the voice acting. However, I find that the dub voice for Ayashi no Ceres's Aya Mikage is quite annoying. It sounds like all she does is shout all her lines and end them all with a shouted question.
(indent) But now I have discovered YouTube and I am able to watch the subbed version of the anime. After all, most of the anime on there is subbed. I don't really mind the Japanese because it's fun to listen to. So I'm going to say that I like both equally well; I'm not picky in that sense.
 
Depends, I like the upper class British accent, it's my world favourite, while the lower class British accent, like my family, make me cringe. Also there are certain areas of the USA with quite good accents, but I'm mostly refering the areas that don't like, I won't be pointing any fingers though

But really, it's a dub, it'll suck just because of the types of people they usually hire.
Anyone seen the Gundam SEED dub? It made me want to pour hydrochloric acid into my ears, same with the Bleach and Naruto dubs... god no... >.
 
Nah, I don't actually want to see any dub, I'm happy with subs ^_^ I was just wondering :P
Dubs are just something I don't agree with, in anime, games or film. FFX is the single only dub I like, and it's not even an anime.

That has to be worse than all of the dubs yet (Aside One Piece of course) >.< Please, please never let me see that again.
And that sure has to be a _joke_ right? Aired on TV? >.< The producers must be sadistic beyond measure.
 
if we're talkin dubs like naruto, one piece, and pokemon then yea they really suck and the subs are better. but i prefer the dubs so much more on most animes. i love the dubs for yu yu hakusho, cowboy bebop, eureka seven, inuyasha, bleach , db/dbz/dbgt, fma, flcl, and lupin the 3rd(except when they make quotes from airplane and make simpsons references). some voices just sound really annoying to me in japanese like goku and stuff. i love all the voice casts for the above anime i mentioned i think they're just a lot better. i dont mind subs though but yea i like the dubs better
 
HAHAHAHAHAAHAHA did Goku call Piccolo Big Green?? I was expecting British accents though. Read or Die TV had some British accent dubbing you can check out
