I have the g-zone S I use the ventones to record the clip and when i tried to email it to myself the message would come but contain nothing. I figured What the He@#, I logged into my account and sent a message from the internet in my account at verizon and uploaded the sound. Got the message and was able to save as a ringtone. Hope this helps.

Some phones won't let you save them. But some phones will let you record audio and set that as a ringtone, others will let you set a flix as a ringtone so u can record a song as a video then set it as a ringtone.

I walked away for a couple of weeks and now Im back at it.

So someone just tell me NO ITS IMPOSSIBLE before I kill myself and/or small furry woodland creatures.

Ok so i did everything i was supposed too and i changed the file extention to .MID for enhanced quality but it the quality still sucks any ideas i got an LG env2

I can easily send a .midi file to my cell phone. But I am one of those cheap guys that has an outdate PN-215 Pantech (Korea) phones and I don't have the feature which allows you to save a sound file into a ringtone.

I suppose that more modern phones do. So I am going to trade up for the latest model available . I've simply uploaded a midi file to xxxxxxatzwpixdotcom All I can do is save it as a sound file and nothing else.
I have over 164 ringtones sitting here on my hard drive and no use for them until I can get a phone that does the conversion automatically once the msg is received.
