More often than not, your min will be different than your mdn. do ##program and put your mdn and your min in. And change back to 2004. Not once was that mentioned to change. Do not change anything that isnt listed in the tutorial.

A couple of things I can point out. Your phone # is an AWS market area "DC" correct.
Also the SID 2004 is most likely incorrect for your area. and as phone shows you are roaming and that is why you are reaching Verizon.
Now I ask is the ESN/MEID on the cricket account?
Al though you may get talk and text working here is a post in the main forum from a user that claims to have done so. http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?p=13728048#post13728048 but if you are in DC, data will probably never work.

For my Cricket account the

MEID ...
HEX: A00000153FEC81
DEC: 268436458104189313

and for my ESN its is pESN i dont know if it makes a different.
HEX: 805618E8
DEC: 12805642472

And yea I am in the 'DC' (AWS Market) area and with that I can care less about the data not working as long my talk and text work Im happy. And if the SID is incorrect how can I get it to the right one?

Thanks guys for all the help so far

I have had my droid in 3 different AWS markets and get absolutely no signal at all. Not even roaming, so if your in an AWS market, you'r probably not going to be able to use the droid. If I'm not mistaken the droid is dual band and AWS markets require Tri-Band phones.

You could always just sell me your droid.....lol

put the whole file without exerting anything in the root dir and press and hold 'X' when turning on the phone... you are in the recovery mode and using the arrow go to where it says 'install' and click middle button and install from sd card....

Well the first SID is a Verizon SID, and the SID post you have linked for verizon PP would not help much for cricket.
You will need to find an SID for CRICKET for your market. As for the Android authority post, it states the chip set is capable. If I can find the technical manual for the Droid tomorrow I'll post it so we can see if it is truely AWS capable. Which I don't believe it is.

When I do that I get: E:No tar archives found.....Do I have to change the file extension to .tar?

Edit: Figured it out...File name needs to be SmokedGlassv601-ESE53.rom.tgz ....I was missing the period between the 3 and rom
