I had one from Verizon , It worked wonderful, But it would work anywhere you could have a

DSL servive and power for it, Even in a Bare 40 acre field. It depends totally on the Internet

not any off the air signal. I could go 100-150 foot away from the house and use it, I Didn't

truely test the Max Distance.
