Reading the post below about being cancelled, how do you know if you are roaming? I live on a border where part of alltel went to verizon the other part is still alltel, but is planning on switching to verizon. No matter where I am on either side of this magical line it always say alltel network. Would it say how much data I'm roaming on alltels website if I log on to my account?
 
No, an Alltel data card NEVER tells you if it's roaming. An Alltel phone only tells you if it's off it's home SID (which maybe roaming or may not be roaming) with a flashing triangle. Alltel doesn't tally roaming use separately on it's website. The ONLY way to tell is serving SID in diagnostic mode/test mode on your device.
 
I remember that's how it was when I used Alltel has my primary line. I don't think that's really fair if they are going to kick you off for roaming.
