MLB Extra Innings Available

No Cubs- Brewers today. Not in HD, not in SD, not anywhere. The game was broadcast by Comcast sports in Chicago, no reason why it shouldn't have been on, the only other game at the time was the Royals and Tigers that was shown in HD. As a Cubs fan this is not good, my fear is that Bell hasn't secured a deal with Comcast Chicago and those games might not be in the extra innings package. With 4 HD channels and only one other game the game should have been available in HD.

Anyone found a schdule for Bell's extra innings yet? I love how they don't allow you to see the schdule before the season starts, then if your not happy with what they show, no refunds.

There are no games listed on the hd channels in the epg up to March 26th, which is as far ahead as the guide goes in my 6100 receiver. I wouldn't expect any hd games until March 31st.

The Cubs Brewers game was on Sportsnet West yesterday afternoon. If you subscribe to WGN and all 4 Sportsnet's along with MLB Extra Innings, you should get every Cubs game.

Well I guess that is your answer blatch13. This is why I WISH that they would either have

1. A slate that is always rolling saying where games are
2. Just putting games on TSN, Sportsnets, WGN, WPIX, WPCH and such all in the MLB package as just mirrors of the actual station.

In just noticed that MLBH5 and MLBH6 were added to channels 885 and 886. More HD Baseball, I love it! The thing is, I subscribe to Extra Innings and these channels are in red. The games scheduled on these channels are for tomorrow (Friday, June 6) so hopefully they will be active by then.

Anyone else notice that the Braves/Indians game that is on right now has the Bell logo in the top right corner. I could be mistaken, but Idon't remember them doing that last year. The logo stays on during commercials and everything.

Over the last week I have had 2 timers set for Extra Innings games and both have quit recording after 3 hour on one and 3 1/2 hours on the other. By default when setting up the timer it shows 60 minute extention of show beyond the scheduled time. I usually change this to 90 minutes.

Has anyone else experienced this?

When check the problem on last night's game, I noticed that another game was scheduled on the same channel to start at 10: pm which would account for the game ending at the the 3 1/3 hour mark. The following game however wasn't picked up in the recording.

Can Expressvu stop recording from their location?

Hey Moosefan,

MLBH5/6 should be unhidden now, we kept them hidden for some testing until this morning.

I saw the logo but to be quite honest, after about an innning I didn't even notice it was there. Hey...just glad to see baseball. BTW, Don't go strictly by the guide. Originally there were only a couple of games or so a day but I see a 1 pm, 4 pm, 7 pm, and 9 pm games on the MLB channel listed after a game is over.

Not sure cause I don't have a DVR

But I wanted to post here and say, did anyone else notice that the audio is beyond low on some channels? I could barley hear the game on FSN Prime Ticket yesterday...

Nice to see two more HD channels for MLB Extra Innings!!!

Lets hope NHL Center Ice adds more come next season.

Most baseball and hockey games are now shot in HD...nice to see the effort to add more.

For anyone who cares, the Jays game is on channel 488/MLB4 with the FSN Ohio feed. I can't believe that Expressvu didn't think of doing this earlier in March, when other Jays games were being broadcast by the opposing team. If it was in Free Preview and they put EPG advertisements on Channel 402, it may have got some extra susbs...

Is there any chance BEV adjusts the pricing of their sports packages to be more competitive with COGECO/Rogers? I want to switch but that is the one thing holding me back. It would cost more than double the $360 a year I currently pay to basically have every sports package Bell has plus others they don

OK, I just don't understand something. On the Bell website, MLB Extra Innings states that Blackouts apply; Toronto Blue Jays games are not included. I understand the reason for this but why are the Mets on CW11 and the Braves on Peachtree not included? If these channels were included like WGN (Cubs), TSN and Sportsnet in the Sports package I would understand. I either have to take a Premium Movies or $5 Superstations (for those that get a CSR that will add it) Package.

My understanding is that MLB Extra Innings provides Out of market games. They mirror Fox afternoon games in the package (sometimes), which I get with Digital Basic so why do I have to get another Premium Movies Package to see some Mets or Braves games? I know some of you will say just pay the extra $5 but I should get these games in the package regardless.

on ch. 487 ARZ/WAS game went black after the 9th inning was over

the game is now in the 11th inning

i called Bell tech support and he told meIN A VERY ANGRY VOICE they didn't cut off the feed it was the league

is this true????? if its true how can people with illegal dishes watch the game then? I told him that and he told me he doesn't care about them but he knows that Bell can't cut the feed off

I wasn't watching that particular game but I assume the game was played in Washington. Since it went so long, is it possible another game kicked in from the west at the top of the hour? Another possibility, when I had Rogers Sports Pack if a game went beyond a certain time the screen would go blank but the game would reappear on another channel. Perhaps this may have happened with your game. I am finding the same problem with Bell as I did when I had Rogers: games identified in the guide are not the ones showing on the screen. Those games are shown on another channel. Weird. Sometimes it pays to look elsewhere in the guide when games suddenly "disappear" from view. Finally, if you know a game is scheduled but can't find it anywhere it may have been rained out. Or, it was a very short game!
