c55 v18 dead after A50_C55 unlocker.rar

Hi folks,

You had lucky with your phone, and you reanimate phones, but I have new version and I cannot
flashing original eeprom with Wizard 4.0.

I try Winswup with resistor, flashig succsesful ,but phone is dead !
Then, when try write orig. eeprom, flashing stop on 33% and say me Verification Failed, and this 3 times.
I try with wizard 4.0 flashing full flash but Verification Failed show me per 2% permanently!

I was opened phone and see up on board on front side near of contact for speaker, manufacture date of phone.
Date is 24.04.2003. Board and software isnt older from one months !?!?!?

On this phone You can read fine flash and eeprom, but when solder resistor, canot writing nothing.
It looks like that phone have some protection from writing anything, without resistor.

Except i even cannot winswup mine- unknown flash FFFF........
I spent whole day on the net, but nothing.....
 
Shoneb,I heard something about new flash ic.I think that siemens is playing hard with all of us buddy!Now we must wait for some time,I guess.We must organise to recognize that new flash ic before killing more phones!Regards!
 
HW problem, i think . . .
IF flash ID is shown like "FFFF. . ." It can only be broken ball, or dead flash ic.
Or, some brand new flash IC type.
 
Today I got one of those C55, After removing the resistor and unlock with maxims 4.5 its dead.And its imposible to write eprom or fullflash always same warning "verification failed"

I seek on net eeprom tool by skylords but cannot find program!

Nope....
For now...
I searched n searched...

All we can do before unlocking now is

FIRST take a goooooooood look at flash markings...
THAN take a loooooooooong time deciding whether or not to connect c55 to PC.......
 
Ok, I removed CPU, and there are 3-4 balls melted together...
I guess that's why flash is not recognized...
Does any1 have some tool for writing eep to c55?
Wizzard cannot write this one.
I need skylord's eprom tools 2 or above...
Or something like that
 
I read on Martech site that there is 2 versions of C55, one with old resistor solution, and the new one with another solution. May be this dead C55 is of new hardware and it needs another test point?

it can read /write all eeprom fields except simlock fields without any test point. the problem is that for changing simlock fields you 'll need to have right loader for flash again.For wizzard try boot's for new maxim's loger.
 
Listen now:
winswup identifies this flash as FFFF...
Unisiemens (as C30, with appropriate boots for c55 ) identifies it as 002C, type 0017.
That means, that flash CAN be identified- which meanc that CPU is OK, and probably flash is ok too!
Is it possible that this is some new kind of flash IC that cannot be recognized by winswup???
Or what?
 
I try comunicatel solution with unisiemens flasher and when flashing beging status bar only 0% for long time !

After that, I try with Winswup and get "FFFFF"
 
Martech 1.4 says 'unsupported flash type, contact for upgrade'
If it's not some kind of new flash IC, I don't know what it is......
