I have forgotten the title but remember it being very good. It's eerie mystery book about cinema. The narrator who might have been working in a cinema finds out about there mysterious films which possess some kind of power or are very special somehow.
I think it takes place in L.A but there are other places in it as well, it might even jump in time.
It's narrated as someone retelling what happened to him.
